AIA
architect, Allen Weitzman (The Ives Group), and developer
Forest City, hired TweakMedia to create a series of 3d
renderings which would be used as a tool to sell commercial
real estate to Target, the popular retail chain. In doing
so, it was imperitive that TweakMedia 3D (TM3D) not only
model and texture the commercial space with geometric
accuracy and photorealism, but also to accurately represent
the geographic location and surroundings. TweakMedia visited
the site and photographed elements of its interior, exterior,
and much of the surrounding area to use as reference in
the creation of the commissioned renders. Some of these
photographs were digitized and certain elements were extracted
and implemented into the 3D models along with CAD data.
TweakMedia also researched Target's corporate image and
implemented the necessary design elements to create an
image that it authentic. TweakMedia then used such practices
as multi-layer texturing and radiosity to enhance the
project's overall realism. |
